She was called to step away from the “career path” mentality and allow her next steps to be guided by Soul instead of human “should’s”, fears, and external expectations and limitations. My name is Amanda Greene. I grew up in Minnesota and currently reside in Wisconsin. My background in meditation began about 2017. At this time I didn’t know much about mediation and actually focused to just clear all thoughts from my mind. After months of practice I actually did get to that point and was able to sit in meditation clear of thought. In 2021 life then got flipped upside down and got very chaotic and I stopped practicing, but kept telling myself that I really needed to start meditating again. Procrastination and lack of free time kept meditation at bay for a little time, until one day I came across something on the internet that was advertising a meditation school where you could learn to teach meditation. I found myself exactly where I was supposed to be. I felt like I had been led through life in a certain way to get the point where I found my calling, my purpose. I graduated my training in November of 2023. Since earning my certification I have taught countless online meditations, as well as teaching at local yoga studios, libraries, retreats, and other small groups.
For me, meditation has been a great tool for managing emotions, working with energy, and staying grounded, as well as having several very clarifying moments where the subconscious mind decides it’s going to reveal something significant.
In my free time I enjoy spending time in nature hiking, collecting rocks or simply just lounging at the beach with my son in the warmer months. In the colder months, you can usually find me being creative, whether it’s painting, woodworking, or some other form of crafting.
